Lake Country Power is a Touchstone Energy® electric distribution cooperative with 43,000 members in northeastern Minnesota. We currently have a position opening for a journeyman OR 3rd year apprentice lineworker in our Mountain Iron service center.

Lineworkers are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the cooperative’s electrical distribution infrastructure.

This position works 10 hours a day, four days a week, and focuses on the construction of rebuilding electrical distribution lines.

Required qualifications include:
* Graduate of an accredited lineworker program
* Journeyman Lineworker candidates must have completed an approved apprenticeship program and hold a valid journeyman lineworker certification and a valid Class A CDL.
* Apprentice Lineworker candidates must be in the third year (or higher) of their apprenticeship program and must be able to attain a Class A CDL within the first 90 days of employment.

The hourly journeyman rate is $52.22/hr. The hourly apprentice wage range is $41.25/hr - $47.52/hr depending on apprenticeship level.
