We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse maintenance. This position requires individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and finished products, and verify the accuracy of quantities and quality against packing lists or purchase orders.
• Inspect and perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet Lux-Art Silks' quality standards.
• Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accurate product selection, proper packaging, and appropriate labeling.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track and update inventory levels, locations, and movements.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to maintain accurate stock records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of products.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders, coordinate logistics, and meet shipping deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and removing debris.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills to navigate inventory management systems and use email communications.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of occupational safety standards and practices.
