2nd Shift Cleaner

The Cooperstown Central School District seeks a 2nd shift cleaner We are looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. The cleaner will also be responsible for dusting surfaces, emptying trash bins, replenishing supplies, and cleaning windows and fixtures. Attention to detail and adherence to cleaning schedules is essential to ensure high standards of cleanliness. The candidate must follow safety protocols when using cleaning products and equipment. Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to perform physical tasks and work flexible hours if needed. To work full-time, 12-month, offering $19.17 per hour plus benefits, per the Service Unit Contract.
